The DV-170 is a multimedia dvd player car stereo system that is designed by Valor to offer you plenty of options for entertainment in your car. This DVD player with the din size would perfectly fit in any number of dashboards of today to expand your factory stereo or you can also mount it in the glove compartment or in any other accessible location in either a vertical or horizontal position. This device would play your favorite PAL or NTSC DVDs including music CDs that are burned to CD-RWs or CDRs. It can also play MP3 discs that include digital music tracks.

This Valor DV-170 DVD player is specially designed to add multi media features to your current A/V system that already include a heat unit or amplifier with RCA audio inputs and video monitor or video input. The unit also includes an in built Dolby Digital decoder which would mix the Dolby digital to stereo for a non 5.1 channel installation. The device also includes a digital audio coaxial output to connect to an optional DSP processor to get Dolby digital sounds in your vehicle.

The Valor DV-170 DVD player features a memory card slot at the front panel that supports SD memory cards up to 1GB and multi media cards. The memory card slot of the unit is compatible with MP3 and JPEG files that are either stored on MMC or SD card memory. You can use the USB port on its front panel to add an additional portable audio device. Apart from the audio and video outputs the device is equipped with a rear panel A/V auxiliary input that includes right and left RCAs for audio and RCA for video to input an external AV source. Although the device does not include its own display there is an on screen menu which you can use to adjust the settings from an external monitor. This mobile DVD player features a parental lock system which can be set between 8 different levels to avoid certain discs from playing and is protected through user customized four digit passwords.
