Let the XR-CA350X from Sony pull out all the tremendous details from your cassettes as it is being designed with a four way high power. The XR-CA350X car receiver features seven EQ3 preset tone curves and you just have to choose a single preset tone to adjust the overall sound of the acoustics of your car. If you need some further adjustments then you can use the three band equalizer that would fill up the ends by adding some clarity to the mids and sharpening the highs. The SSIR-EX tuner of Sony has the capability of capturing any station within its reach. To offer you maximum entertainment the Sony car receiver also has the feature of adding an optional XM satellite radio tuner and a Sony CD changer.The Sony XR-CA350X car receiver offers you the option of choosing from the seven EQ presets which are Custom, Rock, New Age, Jazz, Club, Vocal and Xplod. Each of the EQ preset can be adjusted from 10 KHz High, 1 KHz mid and 60Hz low. The car receiver also features a proprietary SSIR-EX tuner of Sony. This tuner allows automatic tuning that lets you choose a radio station, or if the automatic tuning stops you can also change the tuner’s sensitivity to a local seek mode. This lets you tune in to a comparatively strong station. You can also switch from AM mono to FM stereo for added entertainment.
When you press the off button of the unit the audio output will be turned off but would leave the face illumination and clock display on. If you want to completely turn off the unit then you will have to press and hold the off button for two seconds which will off the system. To get an XM satellite radio you will have to connect an optional CNP2000UC MX mini tuner along with the CNP-SON1 Sony cable adapter.
