Sony MEX-DV2000 Car Stereo CD Player Receiver

The new single din car stereo, Sony MEX-DV2000 is designed with three unique features that would differentiate it from the competitors. The first feature is the ability to play proprietary Super Audio CD format of Sony, the other is a karaoke function that is designed to let the car passengers sing along with the music and the third feature is the ability to perform as a DVD player for external car stereo displays of your car. The Sony MEX-DV2000 also features some remarkable audio certificates as it has the Burr Brown, which is the Dobly Pro Logic II processor and 24-bit digital to analog converter for surround sound output. This makes it an excellent in car audio output specially when playing SACDs.

The excellent design of Sony MEX-DV2000 car stereo cd player shares almost the same functional characteristics with the other Sony units. The rotary dial acts as a means of making menu selection and as volume control, whereas the group of white buttons allow the drivers an easy way to access the main features of the stereo. Similar to other single din car stereos the Sony MEX-DV2000 also has a single line colorless dot matrix LCD display that is sufficiently visible in direct sunlight. The eject button at the right side can be used to open the mechanical faceplate to a disc in the single slot of the car stereo system.

When you play the SACD music format the sound quality that you receive is just stunning which you will find to be much clearer than the regular CD. The other good features of SACD playback on the Sony MEX-DV2000 is the ability of the system to show the data tags for the track name and album in a similar way to the ID3 tags in the homemade MP3 CDs. The Sony MEX-DV2000 also features the karaoke function that allows you to attach an external microphone to the unit and sing along with your favorite tune.
