If you are looking to add some high quality music system to your ride, then Rockford Fosgate has tuned their new Punch Stage 1 P1L-112 subwoofer enclosure at their factory so that you can enjoy perfect bass with this compact box in your car. This enclosure has been constructed from a medium density fiberboard that is nearly 5/8 inch. This enclosure offers a durable home for the punch stage 1 subwoofer whereas its massive slot promotes a big bass production. The heavy duty back carpet protects the exterior of the enclosure and the exclusive cooling ports offer additional protection against any thermal damage to the subwoofers.

This subwoofer enclosure includes a front firing single voice coil of 12 inch with 4 ohm woofer. The cone of the subwoofer is designed of high modulus and thermoformed polypropylene including a parabolic injected molded dustcap. The polypropylene being strong and lightweight gives the woofer high power handling capabilities as it lowers distortion. There is also the high density condensed half roll sealed poly-foam surround which lets the Punch woofers to create more linear excursion that result in excellent bass output. There is also a linear spider that is made from fatigue and tear resistant poly-cotton that improves the mechanical stability during high excursion and maintains a constant excursion characteristic.

The woofer of Rockford Fosgate P1L-112 is designed with an aluminum voice coil of 1.5 inch and includes six layers that have a spun-laced Nomes insulation strengthening collar that offer advanced heat dissipation over the commonly used materials. The hard anodized finish of the woofer increases the strength and all these factors combine to improve the overall handling of the subwoofer. The Rockford Fosgate P1L-112 enclosure includes a sturdy 16 gauge geometrical compounded bend frame to offer added stability. This subwoofer enclosure features one set of 4 AWG high current binding ports to join your amplifier to the speakers system for maximum current transfer.
