As Polk Audio has already built a number of excellent subwoofers for the home, they have now put their experience in designing an excellent sounding car stereo subwoofer enclosure that would perfectly fit in your vehicle. The new Polk Audio db212-2 subwoofer enclosure includes a pair of 12? subwoofers that are mounted in a perfect subwoofer box. This subwoofer enclosure is also built from the same medium density fireboard of 3/4? that was used in the award winning home cabinet subwoofers of Polk Audio.

The power port venting technology of Polk Audio guarantees highest speaker efficiency without hearing any distortions in the inferior ported boxes. The subwoofer enclosure uses a heavy duty black carpet contrast along with grills and the silver ABS front panes that give the enclosure a classic look. You can also make a look of your own by painting the front panel and the grills to match your vehicle.

These db series of subwoofer are capable of handling high power and offer excellent sound performance. The rubber surrounds and rigid polypropylene cones combine together to offer accurate and full bass. These 12? subwoofers use a single terminal as their 2-ohm power.

The back panel of the enclosure is angled in such a way that results in excellent depth at the top and the bottom of the enclosure. This angled design also helps in perfectly being mounted behind the angled rear seat in most of the cars. The original power port venting technology of the unit reduces the air turbulence at the port mouth to offer higher bass output with lower distortion and noise. The Polk Audio db212-2 subwoofer enclosure features heavy duty wheel style ABS grills that protect the drivers in shifting cargos. The baffle and grills can also be painted to match the interior of your car. The NOMEX spider of the subwoofers let extended linear motion as they provide a highly reliable thermal and mechanical stability.
