The Panasonic CX-DP880 is an 8 disc Car Stereo CD changer and this solid unit can be installed in five different angles. The disc loading mechanism and the laser pickup are remote in a floating suspension to almost get rid of skipping. This Panasonic CX-DP880 CD changer is designed to play CD-RWs and CD-Rs so you can load the unit with your favorite recorded discs. If the CD magazine is not fully loaded with the desired discs then the Panasonic CX-DP880 changer technically remembers CD slots that are not occupied and does not waste time in trying to access the empty CD slot that is not available.

Note: The Panasonic CX-DP880 CD changer is easily well matched with a pre Panasonic receiver designed in 2003. However, if you are replacing the old Panasonic CD changer then you would need an adapter in order to make the change. You would also need an adapter if you are adding this Panasonic CX-DP880 changer to vehicles that have a Panasonic receiver and that is made in 2006 and above.

Features

The Panasonic CX-DP880 is designed to play all the CDs along with finalized CD-RW and CD-R whereas it will not play any WMA or MP3 CDs as it would not pass through the CD test information that is connected to a head unit for displaying. This CD changer can be mounted the way you want as it can be fixed in various angles vertically or horizontally. There is an advanced digital servo used in the changer for optical servo control. This features an automatic servo alteration algorithm. The CD changer is designed with multi stage noise shaping as it helps in preventing zero cross deformation and non linear deformation during the CD playback. The digital noise or deformation is moved out of the clear range.
