The mounting of the MTX Thunder subwoofer is also very simple as it would not occupy any of your precious trunk space. The 10” T4510 subwoofer gives out hard core bass with the cones designed from carbon filled polypropylene and these are supported by a foam surround. The ALDS (Asymmetrical Linear Drive System) consists of progressive, flat spider which improves the suspension, whereas the vented pole piece smoothes out the linear motion of the cone. The result of this is low distortion and high output. To give you high power handling, the voice coils are wound to withstand high temperature.
Features
The cone of the woofer is made of a special Carbon filled Polypropylene where the carbon includes the strength and heat conflict to polypropylene. This results in improved reliability and reduced distortion. Apart from this, the cone is also resistant to environment due to the polyether rubber surround. For improved suspension, the Asymmetrical Linear Drive that is progressive and flat spider would help you, and the vented pole portion would offer a clear linear motion of the cone. All the heat from the voice coil is let out through the metal mesh that surrounds the spider. The voice coils being wound would perfectly handle the system during high power intakes. The MTX Thunder4500 T4510-04 subwoofers are designed with strontium ferrite magnets that yield highly well-organized speakers.
