The Kicker KS65 car stereo speakers are designed of CIMP which is Curvilinear Injection Molded Polypropylene woofer cone of high performance complex. This woofer cone remains firm, lowers the harmonic distortion and minimizes the cone flex. The woofer material that is used moves as a piston exhibiting control and power. The speakers also feature enhanced basket and motor assembly that utilize the highest strength steel basket and it also features a low profile open design which offers a firm foundation for precision allied motor assembly. The woofer cones being made of santoprene rubber surround offer supreme UV protection and acoustical dampening as they allow extended cone excursion for a added bass output and to supply higher SPL. The car stereo woofer cones use a special high temperature polyimide film vocal coil former to offer an improved sonic and conductive property. The voice coil also prevent thermal electrical meltdown. The Kicker KS65 speakers include high power tinsel lead wires which prevent power loss and broken leads due to the frequent use of insufficient gauge lead wires.
