The Kicker KS525 speakers are designed with CIMP which is Curvilinear Injection Molded Polypropylene woofer cone that has a high performance composite that lowers harmonic distortion, minimizes cone flex and remains rigid. There is also a piece of injection molded polypropylene material which moves as a piston providing control and power. The speakers are designed with enhanced Basket and Motor assembly that develops a high strength steel basket. It also features a low profile open design and offers a solid base for the accuracy aligned motor assembly. The Kicker KS525 speakers being designed of santoprene rubber surround they offer an UV protection and an unmatched acoustical dampening as they allow the extended cone movement for higher SPL and additional Bass output. Each of the speakers is designed out of high temperature polyimide film voice coil that offer improved conductive and sonic properties and prevent thermal electrical meltdown.
