The faceplate of the car receiver includes a perfectly sized control known along with a bright and easy to read display. The JVC KD-G230 is designed to play WMA and MP3 files that have been burned on a CD-RW and CD-R discs. The disc should be either recorded in ISO 9660 Level one or two or in Joliet or Romeo format. The unit also offers you direct access to the folders numbered from 01 to 12.The JVC KD-G230 car receiver includes the super bass feature that maintains the fullness and richness of the bass sound not considering how low you set the volume. You can also turn on or off the super bass in the sound adjustment menu. Apart from the manual bass, treble and midrange settings the JVC KD-G230 stereo also includes six selectable tone controls along with super bass settings.

The JVC car stereo also includes a powerful in built amplifier that brings out excellent sound from all your discs including discs recorded with WMA and MP3 files. The JVC KD-G230 car stereo also allows you directly access CD tracks from 01 to 12 by just pressing the preset buttons on the faceplate.

The front panel auxiliary input of the JVC KD-G230 car stereo allows you to connect a portable audio source to the stereo. You just have to connect a portable MD, cassette or MP3 player to the car stereo and you can listen to the sound tracks from the portable player through the speakers of your mobile audio system. The JVC KD-G230 car stereo also includes a wireless remote control that includes functions like attenuator, power, source, sound, volume and tracking functions.
