For the last 7 years, JVC has consistently produced premium quality mobile electronics ranging from in-dash receivers to subwoofers. They often showcase uniquely JVC characteristics such as Hemp-Fiber cone woofers as well as compact but superbly powerful and efficient amplifiers. It is no wonder then that audiophiles worldwide have recognized the JVC Arsenal Series speakers to be one of the best product lines available for the car audio industry.

Premiering this month (February) are the 2008 JVC Arsenal Series speakers. JVC boasts a newly modified compact design for their 2008 models. This will allow for greater installation compatibility with a broader range of cars that will be sure to get the attention of those of us with mounting limitations.

Don?t worry, JVC did not sacrifice performance in the new compact design but instead adapted to the new T3 (Thermal Transfer Technology) Chassis. Where most brands would sacrifice performance for smaller size, JVC maintains, depending on the model, a range of 50 ? 80 watts RMS; moreover, these speakers could handle up to 240 watts maximum power. As anyone can see, these specifications definitely show no sign of compromise in the design.

Of course, as with any JVC Arsenal Series speakers, the 2008 models will once again feature the uniquely JVC glass fiber laminated hemp cone woofer. The lightweight material is surprisingly durable and will perform consistently in any condition; and it also does provide a much more natural sound in the middle and higher frequencies so your system will not reproduce a tin-can sound out of your favorite songs. In addition to the unique cone material, the speakers feature butyl rubber surround?a material that is both elastic and tough, giving additional durability and capability to perform at optimal levels consistently.

The Arsenal Series speakers will have both component speaker systems as well as coaxial type speakers, including 5? x 7? , 6? x 8?, 6? x 9?, 6-1/2?, and 5-1/4? sizes. All models will feature a coaxially or separately mounted 1? titanium dome tweeter with either external or in-line crossover networks which will allow the speakers to produce clean highs while maintaining pure low bass sound frequencies.

The JVC Arsenal Series speakers will definitely be worth your money. If you?re looking to upgrade your stock audio system, Arsenal Series speakers will go above and beyond what a typical upgrade could do.
