Jensen VM8012 In-dash DVD Receiver Review

Jensen has designed the new VM8012 car stereo DVD receiver which would be an affordable mobile video alternative to the standard sized dash opening of your vehicle. The clear 3 inch screen of the unit allows you to watch movies and view video songs when you are parked and it also displays clear menus when you are browsing through the music files of your system. The Jensen VM8012 receiver offers you DVD movie playback as well as CDs and DVDs that are loaded with WMA and MP3 files. There is also an in built SD card slot along with a USB input which makes it easy to include different music and pictures along your ride.
The Jensen VM8012 in dash DVD receiver includes an A/V input with a RCA composite car stereo audio and video jack. This can be used with the included A/V media adapter cable to play videos and music from your iPod or any other portable digital media player. You can also connect a portable satellite radio to enjoy different programming. The USB flash device that includes WMA and MP3 files can also be plugged into the rear panel USB input of the unit. This unit supports FAT 32 and FAT 16 file systems and it only supports USB 1.1.
The Jensen VM8012 receiver features a ten second memory buffer when it plays standard car audio CDs. There is also the shock protection which expands to nearly 45 seconds for your MP3 files and nearly 90 seconds for WMA files. Apart from the rear and front preamp outputs the unit is also designed with a single Mono RCA subwoofer output. The Jensen VM8012 in dash DVD receiver also includes a 40 button wireless remote control. This remote control would allow you to control all the advance functions of the receiver. The receiver also includes a composite video output that lets you feed video to an external monitor.
