Infinity Reference has designed each of the car stereo speakers with a cone which is significantly larger than any other speaker with the same size. These speakers are accomplished with a unique basket design along with hi-roll rubber surround. The plus one design of the speakers provides a significant increase in the efficiency and a greater bass output. Each of the speakers is designed using injection molded polypropylene material. According to this process of cone molding they ensure a uniform cone thickness thereby offering superior clarity and linearity. They are also lighter in weight although being rigid that offer decreased distortion and an improved bass output. Each of the speakers is also designed with a hi-roll rubber surround that offer a greater movement which result in more bass output and longer X-max. The speakers are also designed using 3/4” edge driven silk dome tweeters to provide accurate and smooth highs.
