The Jensen VM9312HD is Jensen?s latest flip-out in-dash receiver that features a large 7? LCD touchscreen display with full audio and video playback. This 2008 released model features a few major feature upgrades that will keep consumers up-to-date with the latest technology and functionality.

The Jensen VM9312HD is Jensen?s solution to the increasing demand for HD Radio systems. It has built-in HD Radio tuner, allowing users to take advantage of the free HD Radio service. Users will be able to experience digital quality radio through existing FM and AM stations. The VM9312HD is also capable of receiving XM Satellite radio services with additional parts and accessories, as well as navigation operation, capable of GPS navigation through its large 7? LCD screen.

Just like the other VM93 models, the VM9312HD is a single DIN head unit that tucks away its large 7? screen nice and neat into the chassis. It?s fully touchscreen operable and could display virtually any media format. The unit supports regular CD, DVD, VCD, and even picture CDs. It could even support all of your favorite MP3 and WMA songs. If you have media from other parts of the world like Asia or the Middle East, the Jensen car audio (VM9312HD) is capable of both NTSC/PAL color systems.

The VM9312HD also has a very nice premium quality 24-Bit D/A converter that sets itself high above most in-dash receivers that feature only a 1-Bit or 8-Bit D/A converter. This feature is a significant component in any in dash stereo system as it effects the signal output converted from your digital media to your speakers. Essentially, the larger the Bit-rate, the higher quality signal output you?ll have.

For all of you iPod lovers out there, the VM9312HD includes an iPod adapter cable that could be used for full control and access of most current dock-able iPods. You could also hook up additional audio/video components such as game consoles or remote mounted video sources. If you?re looking to expand your audio system, the VM9312HD has 2 sets of preamp RCA outputs for the front and rear or subwoofer.

The VM9312HD is a great head-unit to have, featuring a very nice and clear 7? LCD display and capable of receiving current technology sources and video such as HD and Satellite Radio as well as iPods. Don?t forget that the unit is also GPS navigation ready and all of it is incredibly affordable staying well under $450.
