The Dual XDMA6700 is a car stereo designed with hands-free calling facility. It is a competitively priced car stereo with fair amount of support for digital audio sources and a great optional Bluetooth calling interface. The system does not come with a built ?in Bluetooth receiver, but it does feature a prominent numerical keypad and dedicated buttons for making and ending calls.The XDMA6700 plays MP3 and WMA files and also has provision for an intelligent iPod connection. The Dual XDMA6700 features an attractive design with a single rotary knob and a simple monochrome white-on-black display. The blue backlit buttons are pleasant and pleasing for the eyes. The XDMW6700 fares well in the search function that enables users to fast forward through the tracks on a disc, in order to find what they are looking for without pressing the fast forward button repeatedly. You can search for tracks either numerically or alphabetically. Users can toggle between each of the categories, with a corresponding logo appearing on top of the display .The monochrome LCD display shows 8 characters at a time. The brisk automatic scrolling feature ensures that the information can be viewed more quickly than other units.
The XDMA6700 can be used to play iPod tracks using add-on iplug cable, which is sold separately. All audio sources play through the XDMA6700?s simple 1 bit digital to analog converter with a power output of 17x 4 channels.
