Clarion imageThe Clarion APX2180 is a two channel car stereo amplifier that is specially designed to offer you 90 watts of RMS from each channel as it has the adaptability to work in a number of systems. This Clarion stereo amplifier delivers full frequency response that ranges from 10 Hz to 50,000 Hz that too with very low distortion. So it is ideal to power a full range set of speakers or you can just bridge it to drive a car audio subwoofer that that 300 watts or RMS. You can also use the in built bass boost and variable frequency filters to tune the Clarion APX2180 amplifier according to the use of your system. There are also preamp level and speaker level inputs that let you to hook up any of the aftermarket or factory car stereo. However, when you use this amplifier, it would supple your system with reliable and accurate power.

The Clarion APX2180 amplifier features a wide range of signal input voltages that range from 0.2V to 8V. This wide range is broken into three ranges that are available through a rotary gain dial and through an input voltage selector switch. The amplifier also includes a constantly variable crossover of 55-550 Hz or 550-5,500 Hz to clear the high from the subwoofer, or the lows of the full range car stereo speakers. You can also set the crossover to high pass filter or the low pass filter.

The Clarion APX2180 includes three way protection circuits. When the temperature is too high, when the speaker outputs are short or during over voltage, the amplifier would shut down. There is a red LED that would glow to indicate that the amplifier has gone in protection mode or has shut down. There is gold plated connection in the amplifier that also includes the set screw terminals for power, speakers, remote and ground along with the RCA line inputs. The gold plated terminals would prevent corrosion thereby would offer great signal transfer.
