Boston Acoustic Pro60 Component Speakers Review

The Pro60 component system from Boston unites high end essentials for an exceptional full range sound quality. As the unit features a cast aluminum basket that forms a steady stand for the 6-3/4” subwoofer cone, it helps eliminate vibrations that could distort the sounds. The air vents and extra large heatsinks keep the inner working system of the system cool, thereby ensuring reliable high power operation. There is also a powerful yet light neodymium magnet that offers the woofer to manage sound while they make dimensional variations. The Boston Acoustic Pro60 also features a pair of dome tweeters of Type-M2 1” that are built from a tough lightweight alloy that emits abundant crisp highs. The featured mounting hardware lets you angle or surface mount the tweeter, or you can also mount on the woofers to produce a high performance coaxial speaker with excellent sound. The crossover features detachable and separate elements that give you a number of options to amplify the sound of the tweeters and woofers. You can also adjust the lows and highs accordingly to match your music preference.
Features
The Boston Acoustic Pro60 component system features a copolymer woofer that is designed with butyl rubber surround. Each of the woofer is equipped with 1-1/2” diameter vocal coil along with a compact neodymium magnet that has a high power to weight ratio that has a suitable size which is nearly one tenth of the traditional ferrite magnets. The speakers also feature an integrated Twin Stage aluminum heat sink, radial vent cooling and a cast aluminum basket to draw the heat away from the vocal coil that increases power handling capacity. The 1” Type M-2 anodized alloy dome tweeters of the Boston Acoustic Pro60 are designed to offer smooth high frequency response and better linearity. The included quick fit mounting cups make it easier to install the tweeters. Although the tweeters come fixed to the woofers with the axis mount bracket, you can surface or flush mount them with the supplied brackets.
