Boss Audio GT1000M Review
Introduction
The Audio GT1000M by Boss is the new car stereo system in Boss’s Riot GT product line. This new car amplifier has technically advanced features that facilitate the output of distortion free sound, even at high volumes. The sleek new design of this device catches one’s eye at the first sight. The GT1000M is by and far, the most advanced car stereo system than the previous models of Boss Audio System. Though the subwoofers are only of 250 RMS, still their output is mind blowing. The other main feature of this system is that even though you use it for a long time it does not heat up. The power packed features of the amplifier comes at a very reasonable price.
Features
The technical specifications of the Boss Audio System’s GT1000M are 200 watts of RMS Power Range, it has only one Channel but this does not really affect its sound output. The maximum power the device can handle is about 850 watts, it also features the standard crossover feature found in many amplifiers, and channel separation is also supported in the device. The built in crossover enables to separate frequencies for a better sound output.
The other features of the GT1000M amplifier include MOSFET MonoBlock Power Amplifier with Remote Subwoofer Level Control, Power and protection LEDs, MOSFET power supply, a TDH of 0.01%. The subwoofer levels of the amplifier can be controlled with a remote control device. For those who love to have a high bass in the car, the device comes with a function called Bass boost switch, which elevates the bass effect of sound. The bass boost switch thus produces for a great blowing sound in the car and one can easily notice you on the stop sign as the bass blows off the hood. The other features includes line and speaker level inputs, variable low pass crossover, Input sensitivity selector, Input gain control, Signal-to-noise ratio is greater than 105dB, Trimode operation and a weight of 7.59 lb. The dimensions of the amplifier are 9-3/8″Wx2-5/8″Hx9-3/4″L.
