Features

The Type-E series of Alpine subwoofer features a Kevlar unbreakable pulp cone that tears resistance and adds strength to the subwoofer cone even though maintaining the advantages of the pulp cone design. The 3/4? high excursion Santoprene rubber surround of the cone is durable and resistant to the elements offering a reliable performance. This surround is solely designed to avoid deformation which is very common in subwoofers with a wide surround. The Alpine also designs their subwoofers with a dual Nomex spider that adds extra mechanical durability and stability. This progressive roll offers the subwoofer cone a linear and longer stroke with maximum restoring and centering force. Nomex?s design and special edge control provide an excellent strength, tear resistance and long term reliability. The subwoofers are also fitted with a gasket system that would cover the mounting screws for a decent look. This excellent subwoofer that offers 750 watts peak power includes a warranty period of one year.
