The AVIC-Z110BT from Pioneer is an in-dash navigation system that provides access to many things for the individual user. The device also provides a Drive Report for the individual. With this, the individual is able to calculate the most cost effective route for the trip ahead. The system can also estimate the carbon dioxide emissions of the vehicle based on the driving habits and fuel consumption of the vehicle. Not only does the AVIC-Z110BT provide customization for the individual, it also becomes a safety and maintenance regulator for the vehicle.
As for the navigation system itself, highway sign boards are presented which simulate highway signs when approaching a major junction, turn, or exit while traveling on the highway. If the individual chooses to use the MSN Direct tuner, there is updated traffic reports from 134 cities around the United States and also in Canada. Using the Map View Mode, individuals are able to view 2D, 3D, street view and rear view maps of the area being traveled. Included are a number of brand icons that aid the individual in finding specific hotels, restaurants, banks, gas stations and chain stores.
