You can now use your Apple iPod in the car stereo with the KD-PDR40 car audio receiver from JVC as you just have to plug it into the included cable of the receiver to enjoy your iPod music. JVC also offers you the choice to use the direct control option to keep the controls of your iPod active or the option to control everything from the faceplate of the receiver. The bright and easy to read display apart from showing the settings also displays artist, song and track information.

The high quality digital to analog converter perfectly teams up with the powerful in built amplifier to offer accurate and clean sound, whereas the flexible parametric equalizer provides wide adjustments of the mids, highs and lows to match according to the system of your car. The JVC KD-PDR40 is being designed to play WMA and MP3 files that have been burned on a CD-RW or CD-R disc. You can also directly access folders which are numbered from 01 to 12. The car receiver also supports artists and album information from WMA and MP3 files.

The JVC KD-PDR40 car receiver also offers a front panel auxiliary input that lets you connect a portable audio source to the device. You just have to connect any of your portable MP3, MD or cassette player to this unit and listen to the songs from the portable players through the speakers of your vehicle. When you use the JVC KD-PDR40 car receiver with factory speakers, the amplifier which gains control would reduce the amount of power that is sent to the speakers. When you set the amplifier gain controls to low the volume control would range from 0 to 30.

The JVC KD-PDR40 car receiver also includes an in built FM/AM tuner that has one AM band and three FM bands. Each of the FM and AM bands can hold up to nearly six preset stations and you can store three preset channels manually or make the radio store them automatically.
