Default Kenwood & Microsoft TOGETHER?

Yes its true

Microsoft & Kenwood have signed a patent cross-license agreement to further the development of each company's current and future product lines, which will expand technological innovation and enhance the overall customer and consumer experience.

This move is suppose to promote the exchange of information and the incorporation of patented technologies in car navigation systems and other consumer electronics products.

"We expect this will accelerate product development by sharing the technologies that Microsoft and Kenwood have developed. It also provides an environment for our customers to utilize the products and services provided by both companies."
- Kazuo Ishiguro, vice president of IP, Kenwood

Lets see how far this goes ! so whats next GOOGLE with MTX AudiO?

Default Well...

This could be a bad thing or a good thing, lets hope for the latter. I do not care what the companies are doing, as long as I wind up with better products in the end.

I think Mcrosoft's future isn't nearly as bright as it once was. I have a feeling that Kenwood is getting the short end of the stick!
