Default Help, I need somebody

My friend's car stereo refuses to allow his compact disk to be ejected from the slot. No matter how many times we hit the button, it just refuses to eject itself. Anyone have suggestions or ideas on what could be wrong or how it can be fixed? He has mentioned just buying a new one, but I do not think he should put out the cash if it can be easily fixed.

If the stereo is still under warranty, contact the company and get a new one! Otherwise, it would be best to get a new stereo so that he doesn't crack a disk by accident!

That is just a simple problem. Try to find the reset button. If not working dismantle it and there is 1 switch that you can eject the CD.

It could be a few things - it could be the circuit thats damaged, or it could be that the disk isnt sitting in the mechanism right - Id take it back to the dealer and see if they can fix it, or take the stereo apart yourself and take disc out yourself !
