It?s gotten to the point in this day and age where your basic siren-based auto alarms do not intimidate the thieves anymore. With all the technology that is being installed in a vehicle (e.g. stereo and CD, DVD, etc.), it has become too tempting for thieves to either steal what is inside the vehicle, or drive off with the vehicle itself.
