Default What is a Bandpass subwoofer enclosure?

Subwoofer

A bandpass sub woofer enclosure provides you with the best quality of sound from your subwoofers. It can be installed in cars or other vehicles too. A bandpass filter is simply a device that lets frequencies of a certain range through, and not others. In a sub woofer system there will be a crossover (a device that lets in the low frequencies and blocks the higher ones) you dont need to provide more power to the lower frequencies for it to be a good sound, all you need to do is to provide the sub with all the frequencies below 100Hz, andything more than that and it wont be as good.
