Default Amplifiers: RMS vs. Peak Power

There are several differences between RMS and peak power and so it is necessary for the consumers to know the difference between the two. An RMS calculates the alternating current that flows through. Anyhow, it is calculated on an average. The whole process is not complex and does not require much of a calculation. RMS is the power that is transmitted continuously. This power should be just sufficient, so that the amplifier just handles it safely. In case of peak power, the burst of power is ins...

not really - say you have a sudden burst of power, and its 10 Watts above the max that your system can handle, your amp is gonna blow a ues. not nice if you are in the middle of a 12 hour drive.

yeah, the amp has to match the speakers (or the speakers have to match the amp) you can get them in kits where all the components are matched to each other - the kits tend to cost a bit more, but you can be sure that all the components work together well

from the spec it looks quite good, but it depends on the price it is - if its a cheap amplifier then it might not actually give that output - but if its made from good components then it might be very good, make sure that you get 2 ohm speakers for it though - these will be louder.
