Is the price of an amplifier really make a difference in ease of installation and quality during operation, or will any amplifier do a good job?

I don't think any amplifier would work..there are a lot of cheap brands out there that'll go POP ! after a few months..mid-range amlifiers should work out just fine provided they are of a reputed company

Another thing to remember is that you should always plan out your installation in advance. you dont want to be installing your system and suddenly find out that you have forgot something!
