Default Grounding my car stereo

Ok, so I heard that grounding your stereo on your battery is a bad idea, so I went home and un-grounded it from my battery =) I then grounded it to my chasis. I couldn't really hear a difference though. but apparently its meant to be better, any ideas about this?

This is not something I am real familiar with, but I did google it for you. See if this article helps at all Possible Error Detected I don't know why it is giving an error message, but if you click on it, it will still take you to the article.
