XM Mini tuner is a mini plug and play device. It avails with the opportunity to enjoy the satellite radio. It is about 1.3 inches wide, 1.65 inches long, 0.44 inched deep. The size is of about three flash cards collected together. XM tuner draws power from the main device, so the problem of battery is reduced there. By assigning to a single subscription, one can benefit to get satellite radio station by plugging in the XM ready receiver. Once the subscription has been made, only a phone call has to be made in order to plug it. Along with this a detachable antenna is needed which stretch to about 30 foot to get the desired station available.

XM Mini Tuner faces no problem in receiving signals from the XM-HD surround sound station.

Viewing some of the drawbacks of this device is the use of adapter for the tuner to function. It may not be the tiniest of the products available today in comparison of iPod shuffles, MicroSD cards. With the use of this device one can avoid the problem of multiple subscriptions and the wiring problems with the transportable radio.
