Sony CDX-GT520 CD Player Review

It is a Sony CDX-GT520 car stereo CD player with built-in amplifier having 17 watts RMS/52 peak x 4 channels. It breezes through MP3, WMA, and AAC music files.
This stylish stereo is a flip down detachable faceplate sporting a large easy to see display. The display color is a blue LED display. It looks good in the dash with the blue button matching the striking display. A wireless remote control is also provided with this product. The sound has a customized sound with Sony EQ3 feature. This feature includes seven preset tone curves and a 3-band equalizer. The Dynamic Soundstage Organizer adds presence and life to the music. By raising the soundstage up to normal level, it is really effective if the front speakers are mounted near the floor.
One can find 3 sets of preamp outputs for adding the same. The subwoofer output includes a sort of a low-pass filter. This filter sends only the low frequencies to the subs. The miniplug input on the faceplate of the stereo can be connected by the portable audio player. One can also add satellite radio, an HD Radio tuner, or an iPod adapter to expand the music selections. The HD radio is a technology which enables AM and FM radio stations to broadcast their programs digitally.
Sony CDX-GT520 can play the CD, CD-R, and CD-RW discs along with disc burned with MP3, WMA and AAC music files. It is compatible with the Sony products like the iPod adapter, the satellite radio tuner, and the HD radio tuner too. Sony CDX-GT520 has a front panel auxiliary input and 3 sets of preamp output.
