Introduction

While installing the rear view camera be sure of the camera including the view of the edge of the rear bumper that way there will not be any space left from being viewed. Try to maximize your viewing area by mounting your camera on a higher level and in a central position. While buying you need to see the reputation of the company or how long they have been in the business before purchasing from them. Check if the installation is difficult and find an alternative or get it installed by the company. Check to see how far the infra red lights shine as these will be required in rare situations when there are no tail lights or street lights. Check the clarity of the screen and pictures. Check the amount of water or weather the product can tolerate and whether it is protected against falling in water.

  2. i haven't seen anyone use this product but it looks like an interesting product, safety is definately an issue in crowded city and you can't take enough safety measures. i'll definately try this one out at the local store      by dmahay

    Thanks for the link paul...yeah , I'm strongly considering buying a rear view camera..I think it has great utility.

  7. The only thing that concerns me about the camera is the possibility of it going out while driving. A mirror, for the most part won't malfunction unless by falling off and breaking.      by megs207
