In-Dash Navigation system
In-Dash Navigation system is a kind of software that provides GPS navigation. This system can be used in all kinds of mobile devices that use Windows. The installation of this software is quite easy and is possible to install in I-mate and Pocket PC.
The software can be installed and can instantly start finding out proper routes to ATM’s, hospitals or any other location throughout the country. There are maps that are kept installed in the device that helps in people finding out the proper place. In some of the devices there is voice navigation instruction like antenna; display unit, maps software, instructional video and data cable are some of the inbuilt features. Some devices are fit with DVD/CD player along with the navigation system, LCD video screen that has the feature of touch screen control. The GPS antenna and the map stored in the DVD-ROM help in finding out a particular place. There are about 11 million points that are stored in the device that includes several hotels, gas stations, restaurants etc. it is possible to play audio and video with the help of this device. Another feature of the In-Dash Navigation system there is in built voice system that helps in giving direction to a particular place. However in such a case a cable is required.

GPS seems to have become a popular feature in all modern devices..cars and pocket PC's in particular...but I doubt many people actually make too much use of it

well i admit that i haven't heard of this kind of thing before but it's an interesting product...i definately have a mind for trying out this product soon...i think it'll be somewhat similar to nokia's navigator but still i would like to try it out before commenting
